Emily Dickinson Lexicon Project The Emily Dickinson Lexicon is an on-line dictionary of all of the words in Emily Dickinson’s collected poems (Johnson and Franklin editions), using Dickinson’s own Noah Webster’s American Dictionary of the English Language as the primary source for definitions. Dickinson’s sister, Lavinia, discovered hundreds of unpublished poems after Emily died. Lavinia hired editors to chronologically arrange and publish .

We have decided to use the versions of Dickinson’s poems that were included in R.W. Franklin’s critical edition The Poems of Emily Dickinson: Reading Edition (published by Harvard University Press). Franklin’s edition provides the best restoration of Dickinson’s poems as she originally wrote them in manuscript and letter form.   Another gorgeous copublication with the Christine Burgin Gallery, Emily Dickinson's Envelope Poems is a compact clothbound gift book, a full-color selection from The Gorgeous Nothings. Although a very prolific poet—and arguably America’s greatest—Emily Dickinson (–) published fewer than a dozen of her eighteen hundred : New Directions Publishing Corporation.
